well I can say that I have done several in a similar way... I actually use
a program that allows me to automaticly make some backups, check the cobalt
download page, check the updates installed, download them and install in the
proper order, and optionally reboot and it has error checking... I haven't
noticed any problems and except the kernel updates I think many of the
updates that ask for a reboot are just doing a more clear cut "we know it's
running now"... as far as I know there are no "run after boot scripts"
I would suggest a more controlled install as opposed to a one liner... but
it's nice to know it can work.. :)
