Dear Fellow RAQ3i owners,
I have a wierd problem with our RAQ3i that I can't seem to figure out. I
have assigned a whole class c to the RAQ3i and we have several pages we
are testing. The problem is none of my dial-in customers can see any
pages on the RAQ3 ?!? Any person off our network can see the pages
fine, it is just the users that dial in to our RAS servers.
Now heres the strange part. While duplicating the problem we found that
if we first ping the raq (i.e. ping cisraq3.cisnet.com) we could then
ping and/or see any of the pages on the RAQ from a web browser. But if
we sign off and then dial back in we could again NOT see any of the pages
hosted on the RAQ3........until we first pinged the raq3. It is alomst
as if we have to "wake up" the ethernet port for local traffic.
We have a RAQ2 and another RAQ3i that we sold to a web hosting customer.
Both the RAQ2 and the RAQ3i are set up exctly the same way as the RAQ3i we
are having a problem with so I know it is not a routing problem.
Anyone have any ideas on why we would have to ping the raq first before
viewing/pinging any of the hosted pages ?
Thanks for any input,
Todd
