Hi Eddie,

The only time I have got a similar message is where my system had more than
one card/modem and the Outlook program was unsure which one was the default,
it then assumed it was the modem and failed with this message.  I had to
tick the default protocol option in the TCPIP protocol in network
neighbourhood, I'm sure you can work out what I mean but email if it isn't
clear.  Two other things, 1.) Isn't your Cobalt unit quite insecure with all
those .com .net in the relay section (maybe the Guru's will correct me) and
2.) you seem to have a funny script on the end of your email, might want to
check that out.

Help!  I have this problem that's going into the second week and can not get
response from cobalt.

In my original RaQ3 setup I used earthlink.net for my call in provider.  I
could send and receive mail. I changed providers to byucity.net.  I can
still receive email to all accounts but when I attempt to send mail I get
this response

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'EJones@ J 1S', Server:
'j-one-s.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10051, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I followed suggestions and added 63, com, edu, gov, net and org entries
addresses to the Relay for the following Hosts/Domains section of the email
setup screen.  The earthlink.net connection would not send mail until they
were added.  If I understand the manuals its the same as " * " and that is
not good.

I am open to any suggestions and/or help.
