Dan,

Yes the problem is in Front Page 2000.  This creates a major problem if
there are script directories which require certain users to execute
(ie...catalogs, shopping carts).  The fix is to get your enduser to update
to MS Office 2000 SR-1, and then republish the site.  If some of your
directories require user ownership (admin,etc...) you will probably have to
recreate them.  Hope this helps!
