In a nutshell, I have installed our Thawte cert on our RaQ3 so we can
collect info from customers securely using Frontpage "forms"
When submitting the forms via http everything is great.
When submitting the forms via https we get this error:
"Cannot open "/usr/local/frontpage/we443.cnf": no such file or folder."
The reply from MS is:
This indicates that the FrontPage Server Extensions have not been
installed on port 443 on the Apache server. If you are using the command
line interface for installing Server Extensions, you must install them to
each individual port you wish to use them on. This will create a
configuration file that references the instance installed to. If you wish to
use the Java based administration tool that shipped with the Cobalt
server, you must contact them for support using that application as the
scripts used are not written by Microsoft.
The reply from Cobalt is:
. . . . .
(Yes, nothing. Every since I started putting "Submitted to Cobalt (date) on
their online form they haven't answered a single support question. It used
to take a week, now it take (literally) forever)
Any experience on this problem. I would think MANY people would want to do
this and I know it works because we have several sites hosted with another
shared host that work fine.
