Hi to everybody here,
in the Host-Management on the RaQ3 (I guesson all Cobalts) under
Control-Panel/Email-Server/Parameters there are two fields:
1. Relay for the following Hosts/Domains
2. Host/Domain Aliases
Let's say, I have several domains on my machine, some with standard
subdomains like "www", others with additional subdomains, some with own
IP# and some with a shared IP#. For example:
hoennig.de 64.27.85.221
www.hoennig.de 64.27.85.221
mail.hoennig.de 64.27.85.221
michael.hoennig.de 64.27.85.221
gerhard.hoennig.de 64.27.85.221
binational-in.de 64.27.85.221
www.binational-in.de 64.27.85.221
mail.binational-in.de 64.27.85.221
justso.de 64.27.85.229
www.justso.de 64.27.85.229
mail.justso.de 64.27.85.229
andanotherone.de 64.27.85.229
www.andanotherone.de 64.27.85.229
mail.andanotherone.de 64.27.85.229
(Not all do really exist.)
I don't want to allow relay for any external hosts, of course except TO
domains on this machine.
Do I have to add all fully qualified AND all IP# to both lists? I guess I
only need to do it like this:
1. Relay for the following Hosts/Domains:
64.27.85.220
64.27.85.229
2. Host/Domain Aliases
hoennig.de
binational-in.de
justso.de
andanoterone.de
Or is it even enough to list the IP# (although partly used by more than
one Domain) for the second list?
Thanks
Michael
