It was sent to Bugtraq...a security list..not to any of the Cobalt lists.
That's why I got a bit perturbed. I have a sysadmin who monitors the Bugtraq
list
but it's not the first place we look for Cobalt announcements.

Where was the annoucement sent? Why not cobalt-users?
Why is so much of cobalt's stuff considered "experimental"? It's unfair that
basic security fixes (a) don't get support and (b) void your warranty.
