Well gee Jeff, if you would have asked me I would have told you...No you do
not
need to be a Tucows mirror to be a OpenSRS reseller. =)
One does however need the technical skill to install and modify the
opensource client scripts they provide as
the provided documentation is not for the newbie. For those on the list that
want to
do this and don't feel comfortable enough tech wise they can opt for the
"QuickStart"
program that does not require all the scripts to be installed on their end.

There were other answers, too, all pointing out the same information.

So the verdict is in; you do NOT have to be a mirror.  Still, for two
bucks each, maybe I'll mirror the Linux server <smile>.
