Were you one of those little kids always under foot at the West Coast
Computer Faires? I ended up buying the second TRS-80 Model 1 delivered
in San Francisco; I was a scoutmaster at the time and a Sr. Patrol
Leader kept trying to get me enthused. Before that I was working with
NCR accounting workhorses and typesetting boxes programmed in 8080
assembly.

I've seen the same problem, and I, too, blame it on a recent update.
I'm going to be adding updates, one at a time, soon, to see what
happens.
