Samba 2.0.6 really needs a 2.2 kernel to compile/work properly.  This make
sure of some new features available in the newer kernels.  I'm pretty sure
that state that on their site some where.  All there errors you are 
getting suggested that there is a type they are looking for that that
current kernel (which is where /usr/include/asm is, a symolic link to 
/usr/src/linux/include/asm-mips).
