[cobalt-users] xserver on a RaQ3

Does anybody have experience of running an xwindows based application on a
RaQ3 machine?
I have seen a Tech Note about installing xfree and xmp libraries to
facilitate the installation of Oracle8i. Here the Oracle installer requires
a 'display' device. After this Oracle runs on the RaQ3 as it not an X
application, only a daemon.
The application that I wish to install( Which provides data for the
webserver ) on the RaQ3 is a full x application and so based on the
information from the Oracle install notes it would appear that a second
machine would be required to act a display device. Clearly this clearly
negates the advantages of the RaQ3 as a compact and self-contained device.
Is there a way of 'tricking' x applications into thinking that the RaQ3 has
a 'display'. Since this appears to be the only method to enable x based
application to run completely on the RaQ3. Unless anyone is aware of any
other alternatives?
Any comments greatly appreciated.
Regards
Bob
