Hi,
I'm currently testing a 30-day evaluation Raq 3 and have set-up a
mailing list. The problem lies when I obtain the configuration file
(via the Majordomo config command) and then send the amended results
back to Majordomo. The result is always along the lines of:-
>>>> newconfig updates ********
The new config file for updates was NOT accepted because:
Can't find restrict_post file
/usr/local/majordomo/www.drake.org.uk/lists/updates.new at line 389
More then one word 4in value subject_prefix = [ Drake.org.uk
Updates ] at line 326
>>>>
If we went ahead with purchasing these boxes in the dozen for our
customers, we need to have a way for them to configure their mailing
lists, and the only way I can find is through creating a symbolic link
from the user's home directory to the
/usr/local/majordomo/www.drake.org.uk/ directory. This will mean that
the users can download/upload a new config through FTP or shell access
(not desirable).
Is there any way to fix the Majordomo config/newconfig update problem
as shown above easily?
Regards,
Martyn
