Yes,
This works via ip number, and gives the normal warning that the site name 
does not match the cert. A valid thawte cert is installed.

The problem comes when trying to access via the secure domain 
https://daisy.site-secured.com/ - does not work, but 
http://daisy.site-secured.com works.
