Re: [cobalt-users] [RAQ3] SSL

Ahoy

I just installed a certificate on a new RaQ3.

1) Designated one domain for SSL (can only have one per IP)
2) Enabled it via GUI
3) Generated private key, unsigned cert, and cert request via GUI

At this point, I could address the server via browser by putting the IP
number in the address bar, and it would go straight to the domain in
question (after warning me that the cert was unsigned)

4) Pasted in signed cert from Thawte via GUI.
5) Restarted machine

Done. Now, I can address the machine as https://secure.domain.com and away
we go.

If you are having troubles, feel free to write me at rdavis@xxxxxxxxxxx with
the particulars, and I'll try to help.

Aloha
Davis
