[cobalt-users] DNS & SSL Q's

I spoke to a Cobalt tech today that says I do not need to get the SSL pkg
from Cobalt or anywhere else as it is now built into the box..

I applied for and received a new Thawte cert this week and installed it via
the GUI, but it does not show in the browser.. 
Via telnet I can see it was placed in the proper folder:
/home/sites/home/certs   
-rw-rw----   1 root     home         1081 Mar 16 09:51 certificate
-rw-rw----   1 root     home         1081 Mar 16 09:45 certificate.bak

When you hit a SSL page at my domain, it still shows the verisign cert.
Suggestions here???

I am told I have a DNS problem [still] My shopping carts, PerlShop, when
you click on the payment/shipping form is giving a generic DNS error. If
you click BACK then click again it works fine. I belive this happens on
regular SSL fill in forms also, but I can not duplicate it here. Almost
always in the carts when adding the 1st item to the cart and sometimes in
other places, you are told you are entering or leaving SSl when indeed you
are not. These problems are present and can be duplicated in both MSIE and
Netscape, tho some happen at different times in Netscape than IE.. The
gentlemen on the PerlShop list belive this is a DNS problem. The Cobalt
tech says they can't trouble shoot the script. The script (identical in
every way) works just fine on the shared servers.

I was instructed to obtain 2 dns addresses and I did
dns1.beautytech.com
dns2.beautytech.com
both are on the box, even tho I know this is not right or recommended..

Lastly, which I think is also DNS related.. using the cobalt as my smtp, I
can not email any yahoo or hotmail address. mail generated internally from
scripts addressed to either domain also bounces.. almost always bounces as
connection reset. 

Any clues here on all this???
