Hi, I've asked before too. I think the way to go is
Arkeia backup. There is nothing to suggest that you
couldn't hook up any SCSI tape drive that is supported
by Arkeia.

I don't know if hooking up a tape drive will require a
kernel rebuild or not. There's probably a Linux
mini-FAQ which describes how to set this up.

Sorry I couldn't be much more help. I'm very much
interested in setting up a backup of our raq3i's but
don't have the time to investigate it right now. Plz
tell me how it goes.
