Hi folks,

Not sure if I understand the requirement fully (" that threads email properly")  , but just in case ...

I use Calypso,  not a freebie but a very good mail package.   Very configurable.

It will pick up mail from loads of different mailboxes and when creating mail allows you to select from a number of "From" addresses.   If this is what you mean by "multiple personalities" perhaps this is the client for you.  Take a look at www.mcsdallas.com
