Okay, now everyone can be happy. I finally caused a problem I can't fix,
on a working RaQ, trying to research something for the list <wry grin>.
I created a domain, <jeff.nobaloney.net>; the host name was "www".
The IP# was 209.126.157.077 (note the zero in the last part of the IP#).
Now I cannot delete the domain. I get this error: "IP address
209.126.157.077 not in use by a virtual network interface"
So what do I do now; I certainly don't want to rebuild the box from scratch...
Brian Kane wrote something similar back on Mon, 06 Mar 2000; he later wrote
and said it was a missing file in the majordomo directory.
Someone else suggested that he try adding another site on the same IP#. I
did that; I added <mike.nobaloney.net>. The RaQ then allowed me to delete
<jeff.nobaloney.net>.
But, alas, now it won't allow me to delete <mike.nobaloney.net>. Am I now
destined to have this nonworking site on my system forever? I hope not
<wry grin>.
HELP <smile>!!!
Jeff
