I'm running the latest RaQ3... I will be hosting multiple virtual domains.
When setting up email, I'll be using "mail.xyz.com" as the mail server.
Relay for the following Hosts/Domains:
"The following is a list of IP networks, host names, and Internet domain
names that are allowed to use this server to relay mail. To allow a remote
user to send and receive email, add their computer name, IP network, or
Internet domain name to this list."
===> I have put abc.com, def.com, ghi.com here, but do I need to put the
IP's and/or the www.abc.com addys also?
Host/Domains Aliases:
"The following is a list of host name and Internet domain name aliases that
this server will receive mail for. If you intend to receive mail addressed
directly to your domain name, add that name here."
===> I have put abc.com, def.com, ghi.com here, but do I need to put the
IP's and/or the www.abc.com addys also?
If so, why?
Now all the email being handled by mail.xyz.com, the manual says you cannot
have duplicate email names accros all the domains on the same machine. BUT I
do know that every webmaster will want webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxxx I know there
has to be a way around this with aliases or something...?
Thanks,
Greg
