As far as I knew, domains could not contain two consecutive hyphens.  Maybe
I'm wrong or maybe the rules have changed?

Would you mind sharing who the registrar was you used to acquire the domain
name?  I just tried a whois on the domain and recieved the usual 'No Match'
message.  Then again, I have no idea how long ago you registered this domain
so it may not have made it to the root servers yet.
