[cobalt-users] Log Files

Hello:
I'm new to the list and new to using the Cobalt raq3.
I've only been running it for about a month. All is well so far.

I need to figure out how the log files are kept. If I access the the log
files
by ftping to each user -- the logs seem to only be for a short period of
time and then they
disappear and change.

There are log files in the /home/sites directory but as ftping in as
admin I am denied access
which means that I need root access to get to these files -- is this the
only way I can get access to these logs files?????

Any help would be greatly appreciated ...
