[cobalt-users] Help! - Installation of new MySQL version on RAQ2

by now i'm running mysql 3.22.21. there is a problem with the select
max(x) when x is of type integer.
i want to install a new version and found some mips-rpms on
www.mysql.com. on the cobalt-ftp-server you only get the
3.22.21-version.

question: can i use this rpms or do i need to compile from the source?
anybody experienced?
