I'm not sure what you mean by swap file here?  Linux (and Cobalt) use swap
partitions for virtual memory, paging memory in and out of swap when needed.
I can remeber what the page size it, but I seriously doubt that somebody
can look and see how much data is being written to the swap partition.  ARe
they talking about a different file?

Can really say much more unless we know exactly why it was hanging.
