Subject: [cobalt-users] Cron Job crashing
server
Hello,
I have a RAQ3 with 128 MB of RAM and about 230
sites. Every night for the past three nights its run out of resources at
4:00 AM and has to be coldbooted. I was told by Cobalt support that it
is probably related to large log files that haven't been rotated. Cobalt
support said that I could run logrotate manually but that did not seem to
work. I also commented out the split_logs program for the apache access
logs because I thought that was the problem but this did not work
either.
Has anyone else experienced a similar
problem? What did you do to fix it?
I'm convinced the problem is one of the scripts
in cron.daily. Does anyone know what scripts I can temporarily remove
from the 4:00 AM cronjob?
Also, is the Cobalt list still searchable by
keyword? Where is the link to the search program?
Thanks for your help,
Andrew Cohen
