Dear Fellow RAQ users,
I have a RAQ3i we installed several days ago. Everything has seemed to
go OK although we have not put it through any extensive testing until
recently. We tried to FTP some web pages to it and are unable to FTP.
Like wise we are unable to Telnet to it as well. If I try to FTP I see
the following;
bash-2.02# ftp 204.179.144.167 (obviously this is what I type)
connected to 204.179.144.167
It will hang here for a few minutes and once in every 5 or 6 tries we
will get;
220 ProFTPD 1.2.0pre8 server (ProFTPD) [webhost.cisnet.com]
Name (204.179.144.167:root):
providing the admin name password will get us in...again, once every 5
or 6 times....the other times it just timesout.
If we do happen to get connected issuing commands like ls or cd takes
anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 or 4 minutes to execute.
Telnet is pretty much the same story. However the web interface seems
to run fine. We have another RAQ3i that works fine with no problem and
in fact we got them both in at the same time.
Any ideas, hints, tips, pointers, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Todd Knaus
