So, what happens after the full year of support and upgrades. How much is
the infamous MAINTENANCE FEE?

That is interesting and a point I wanted to discuss with you.

(1) So basically, I'd have to go to this master files, and alter a few
simple lines of html or perl or whatever.....
Is this correct?

(2) Would you provide support for doing this?

(3) After I've altered the skin master files, included a link to my own
company website and my own graphic, will all stores and pages generated by
your software display my links?

(4) I guess I will have to do this for every of the 15 skin templates!?
