[cobalt-users] User password file on Linux

Hello,

Is it possible to locate and read a user password file
on a Linux 2.2 system? How would I go about doing it?

I'm transferring customers from one old machine to a
new Cobalt, but my users have always had the ability
to change their passwords on the old machine by
telnet. I'd like the migration to be as painless as
possible by setting up their domains, userID's and
passwords on the new machine (in advance) so the
migration is seamless. But I need access to their
current passwords (on the old machine running Linux
2.2) to do so. Can this be done?
