I am attempting transfer my domains, but am running into a real snag.
Mainly because I don't understand how to set default permissions on my
domains.
On my former server, I was able to manipulate files and directories via perl
scripts. The default permissions on the server allowed me to create
directories and files, and delete files when necessary. Also, I could add
information to database without a problem.
Now, I must go through every directory and every file and set the permission
manually. With 50 domains, and hundreds of directories, I could be here a
while. I can't even write to the database files in the root of the domain
without changing permissions first.
How can I change my server to allow PERL control over files and directories?
