Look at the "rpm -V" command (and its sub-options). Since Cobalt uses
Red Hat packages you can use the rpm command to verify permissions and
ownership and do MD5 hash checking to verify the contents) of files on
the system that were installed from RPMs (I believe almost all of them
that come with the Cobalts are covered this way).
