Re: [cobalt-users] Perl Modules??

or you could use the CPAN module.

I haven't done it, but it would probably install painlessly with this command (run as root):

# perl -MCPAN -e 'shell'
cpan> install Bundle::LWP

It resolves the dependencies for you (by default), it builds, tests, and installs it.

LWP is a library of perl routines for accessing the Web. It can be
obtained on CPAN in the file libwww-perl-5.47.tar.gz (current as of
yesterday). You will also need five other modules installed prior to
LWP:

URI-1.04.tar.gz
HTML-Parser-3.05.tar.gz
libnet-1.0607.tar.gz
MIME-Base64-2.11.tar.gz
Digest-MD5-2.09.tar.gz

After unpacking the tarballs, installation is a 4 step process:

1. perl Makefile.PL
2. make
3. make test
4. make install

The last of these must be done as root.
