Since they're the ones who configured their network; I'd think they'd be a much more reasonable place to ask this question than to ask us on this list. Unless of course you're colocating at one of us <smile>.
Do you think they're just trying to get an extra dollar a month out of you? You can run your primary DNS on ANY of those 16 IP#s, no matter what else is run on it, so I don't really think so <wry grin>.
