Re: [cobalt-users] Building Database Apps for Web PHP3 or MySQL?

In order these are the steps to learning MySQL/PHP.

Load the RPM's on your server. Look in the old mailing list, there are
several messages on how to do this quickly and without any problems.

Go to Amazon. com

Buy these two books:

MySQL - The other new riders
Building Web Applicaitons with PHP

Both excellent books, both with great tutorials and after buying just
about every book out there on the topics, these are now the only two books
I carry with me 24/7

Also, look on webmonkey.com, there is an excellent tutorial that will get
you started. Click on Backend and then PHP on the left menu. You'll see
what I mean. After I did all these steps I just described, I have not
"databased" and created dynamic sites in a matter of hours.
