Hi guys..

OK making progress tonight..

I had one NON-dissapeared user that was set to vacation.. I changed the
setting in vacation.pl <thank you guys for finding that!> and at least I
could test..

and it worked.. cool.. next.. since I am the site admin  and there are 12
autoresponders that have been active on my site for over 5 years.. I did
not want to check 13 boxes all day.. so I 1st tried a .forward but it did
not move the mail to my box.. so I tried the FORWARD in the GUI user
setup.. and 2 good things happened.. #1 the user did NOT disappear :) and
the request for the mail was placed in my box :) :)

BUT.. the request for the AR ALSO stayed in the users box.. now what?? That
will be a pain in the patootie..
AND BUT.. the AR (vacation notice) was not received  by the rquester.. only
 in my last test.. 1st 2 tests sent from this address to AR@[IP#] , sent at
proper time intervals to allow send, the AR was received as well as the
request .. last (3rd) test was sent from my ISP, the request received, but
not the AR at my ISP.... humm... wonder if this is something I need to wait
till I;m live??
