Re: [cobalt-users] RaQ3 crashing

Pardon the elementry question here; Why even have a
cgi-bin, cgi, bin or cgibin directory on a RaQ3??

According to Cobalt a designated cgi directly isn't required
since any cgi script is suppose to be executable from any
directory. I'm not having problems doing this on my RaQ3,
other than that dang cgi-wrapper being a pesky booger to
work around.

This is probably a little off topic, but it sure would be
easier to debug scripts if I didn't have to telnet in to do
a tail on the server's main error log. Having a local error
log for each virtual site and then run a tail script on
would be so much more convenient, especially since I'm not
that fond of giving user's telnet access. Would be even
nicer yet if the local error logs were reset on a daily
basis, too, as to conserve space.

Any ideas how I can get individual error logs for each
virtual site that won't play havoc with the GUI? Can't seem
to find the right spot to add this to a .conf file. Not
exactly sure __which__ .conf the error log directive is
suppose to be in.
