MySQL is a database that runs on many platforms--what is the application
that you are trying to do?  What are you trying to do?

If you are asking if you can run a DB that is friendly to Internet
applications, yet still access it from Access, then MySQL may be your
answer.  YOu're going to need to get MyODBC (downloadable from www.mysql.com
in the downloads section).
