Re: [cobalt-users] MySQL
Greetings,
mySQL is a database. So adding it to your server won't help him
specifically. If you say that he did have his MS ACCESS database working
on a UNIX server before, then you need to (somehow) just get the ODBC stuff
setup. I wish I could tell you more, but I am very interested in the
outcome, 'cause I'd like to be able to offer MS ACCESS as well.

Subject: [cobalt-users] MySQL
Help i'm a newbie to RAQ, so please bear with me.
I have a client wanting ODBC support (uses Access for his database)
Am i right in saying i need to install Mysql ?
If so - how do i do it exactly (i know where to get it-but not what to do
after that.)
Does my client need to know or change anything and do i need anything
else?(he had his database running perl scripts on a unix machine)
Any help greatly appreciated
Neil
