I noticed that my stock-out-of-the-box Qube2 was doing those AppleTalk & IPX
logging messages when I first turned it on.
Easily 90% of my /var/log/messages file is these useless messages. I do
*not* have Appletalk enabled and do *not* use NetWare.
When I asked Cobalt support about them, I was told (paraphrased), "those
messages are compiled in the kernel, there's nothing that can be done about
them."
I'm looking forward to a useful reply to your question!
