[cobalt-users] Re: [Cobalt] RaQ2 Mail setup.
Hi,
I had the same requirement. I set up DNS record mail.userdomain.co.uk.
My users enter mail.userdomain.co.uk as their mail server address in their
mail client.
so in the DNS I have
www.userdomain.co.uk to IP address
IP address to www.userdomain.co.uk
mail.userdomain.co.uk to ip address
and a MX record
userdomain.co.uk to www.userdomain.co.uk
it seems to work for me ! I cant Guarantee that its totally the correct way
of achieving the required result
As a UK RAQ2+ user, I find that the technical support form Holland is next
to useless, they constantly refer to the KB, regardless of the problem.
The guys in the US seem to give much better support - concise information
without delay. Although I still do not have a solution for the following:
I deleted a User. The account has disappeared from the web interface.
However I cannot add a new user with the same name, I get an error message
that the name is already in use.
I receive the following message each day:
"error: error accessing /home/sites/site48/logs: No such file or directory"
although site 48 seems to be functioning entirely correctly !
Regards
Lester Wilson

only using "www.mail.clientsdomain.co.uk". Where am I going wrong ?
