Thanks for the hint, unfortunately that was not it. I am wondering,
this particular machine is showing that the Operating system and
programs are taking up 436.5 Megabytes of space, which is red-lining
the active monitor. Could they be taking up so much space, that the
updatedb is unable to write to the locatedb file? If this is the case
can I increase the amount of space allocated for OS and programs?
