Try the following: - telnet into your raq. Start "nslookup". Nslookup gives you the default nameserver. Enter some domains. Does the nameserver give answers, or do you get a timeout? By entering "server 195.185.185.195" you change the nameserver you'll query. Does this change anything?
My RaQ2 does have nslookup. However, it doesn't seem to have "traceroute" or "whois", both tools I use often.
Are there RaQ packages for these tools? Or RaQ2-ready RPMs? Jeff -- Jeff Lasman, nobaloney.net <jblists@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> <www.nobaloney.net>, <www.mailtraqna.com>, <www.email-lists.com>
