I ran the uninstaller as root, but now when I try to re-install
the POP-before-smtp I am getting this error message:

Problem verifying package component: qpopper-2.53-1C8.i386.rpm

Does anyone know how to fix this error?

I noticed taht qpopper was mentioned in the POP-before-relays.txt
files!

  This package upgrades qpopper.  Note that Cobalt service
  releases may overwrite this version of qpopper and the pop-before
  smtp relaying may fail.
