Well, it really depends on what the site is and what you are planning on
doing. Myself, I can't use the web interface because it doesn't support the
things I need to be able to deal with (ie. MySQL, mod-php, etc.).
There propbably isn't much of a reason why you'd need to screw with the
httpd.conf file too much. If you can do the administration from the web
interface, do so. If not, you don't have the option.
