My understanding of DNS tells me that both are necessary.

David's nameserver (in this case his RaQ2) needs to be setup for "Automatic 
Reverse Address Record Generation" AND his provider has to delegate it to him.

I know a little about DNS <smile>; I'm in the Name-Service providing 
business under <ns-one.net>, but I'm still learning every day when it comes 
to the RaQs.
