RE: [cobalt-users] Site limit with Linux/ProFtp

Whatever it is, it certainly isn't a proftpd limit; I use proftpd extensively on Linux/Intel boxes with no such limit.

How is the limit manifested? I don't see how it could limit use of the admin password; proftpd doesn't care where you go once you log in with admin; you can go anywhere you want as long as admin's rights work for you.

Does it limit how users can use ftp?

More information needed.

Thanks.

As far as I know, the only thing it affects is FTP. Cobalt's solution is to
login to FTP as siteadmin.

Can you point me somewhere that explains the 32 site limit?

I've been sold on the RaQ2 by my vendor, who tells me I can host up to 200
sites on the box. I keep reading about a 32 site limit.

What's limited?

How is it manifested?

I need to know because I've had the box less than a month and I'm already
almost to 32 sites.
