Another option is to copy that vacation.pl to another location and
insert a new line in the user's .forward file. Something like ...

"| /new/location/of/vacation-0day.pl"

BTW: The reason that this file is set to 7 days is so that if the addr
gets a lot of mail it won't keep sending replies and bog down sendmail
queue. I would set it to something reasonable, i.e. not 0 sec.
