There shouldn't be any problem at all putting a Raq on an ADSL line. ADSL
will provide the same top level TCP/IP availability as any network line.
The problem with ADSL is, as its name states, that it is asynchronis. It
is a lot slower upstream then it is downstream. I would say 99% of our
Raq's use is upstream traffic... making the slowest part of your ADSL line
the heaviest part used by the Raq.

If that isn't a problem and you have plenty of bandwidth (can you ever
really have enough?), then a Raq would work fine. If not, and you still
want the savings, check out SDSL. It is the big brother to ADSL and will
give you faster speeds in both directions for about $500 cheaper per month
then a T1. Of course, those are prices relative to my area, your results
may differ.
