Hi Richard
I sent an email to myself with 2x 4 tildes ~ together in the body.
And the email will be downloaded (i use outlook 98...) without problems....
Maybe you'll have to install the patches from kobalt (update to 2.0 +
security updates 2.0,2.1,2.2)...
Greets
Steven

Subject: [cobalt-users] POP3 problem caused by tildes!!
Hi
I have had another occurrence of being unable to collect emails from a
POP3 server on my RAQ2. It is on another domain used by a client who
uses a different ISP and different email software. Again Hotmail was
able to pick up the messages from the pop3 server.
After a lot of trial and error I have found the cause of the problem.
which is that if there are more than 2 tildes ~ together in the body of
the email it wont download. Weird!!!
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and any suggestions as
to how to solve it.
thanks
