[cobalt-users] Strange POP3 failure on RaQ2

A strange thing happened today. I couldn't collect emails from one of my
pop3 accounts using my mail program. I tried several times during the
day without success and then tried setting the server to forward
everything to another email account but nothing happened. Then I hit on
the idea of using a Hotmail account to collect the emails using its POP3
facility and this worked.
I have never had a problem like this before and it is now working again.
The only thing I can think of is that one of the emails had a 768k file
attached. Since Hotmail managed to collect the emails maybe it is not a
problem with the RAQ2 but a difference in the network between my server
and me compared with the route between it and Hotmail. It doesn't seem
to be my ISP though because I forwarded it from Hotmail to my ISP email
account and my mail client downloaded it without problem.
I really don't have a clue so if anyone has any suggestions I would be
grateful.
regards
