There are probably other clients that work, there are just some that
don't.  The Cobalt tech probably was just suggesting a client known to
work.

Microsoft's telnet is a notoriously bad VT100 emulator, but in this
case, it IS a bug in the RaQ terminal library.  We have a true VT
terminal, and top doesn't work on it either (I just went and tried).
