Certificates are not assigned to IP #s, nor to certain servers (which would be identified via IP addresses anyways). They are
assigned and registered with domain names ONLY (as far as I know this includes hostnames, this would mean that for having
secure.domain.com and ssl.domain.com you needed two seperate certificates).
There is actually an excellent solution to this problem. There is a software from a swedish company, and I've just ordered it
yesterday.
